Science fiction and current trends in AI predict that some day in the future, it may be possible to store and re-generate human consciousness (in fact, humans in general) through computational technologies. The regeneration part is still in the future. However, we believe it is possible to save enough state digitally to enable the computation in the future. We are building the technology to store human state digitally for future reconstruction. We are building the legal and financial frameworks that will allow regeneration. We also consider the social, ethical, and spiritual implications of regeneration. Last, we are building prototypes of regeneration, though high fidelity regeneration is still in the (distant) future.Â
That said, we are certain that if you store zero state today, we are 100% certain that the is 0% chance you will be regenerated.
Store your state today, so you have a chance to live tomorrow.
